I beg your indulgence for my long absence from council and knightly matters, for the many tasks at Haven required my attention. I write with joyous tidings – for construction at Haven has at last been completed. All the basic structures are now in place and will be improved over time, resources allowing. This is your victory, my friends, and that of the Realm – savor it, but also use it. This is a place of learning, refuge, and parlay for all factions with love for Osterra in their heart. And we have not been idle here - Shield recruits are patrolling the nearby tradeways and villages, and it seems that Dawn’s Hope and Silver Twilight have yet managed to keep the demons at bay – at least in the surrounding hills here. Please continue to send promising candidates here for training. I understand that the voyages of explorations on the new Continent have wrought both discovery and loss. Strange, troubling visions have often visited my dreams – I know not if they were a sign of your struggles or something else. Word of the coming Winter Council has reached Haven. I shall be there and would talk with as many factions and Sentinels as attend - to hear of your travails and how Haven may be of service. If not already agreed, I hereby also call for a Knights Council - that those gathered may weigh matters of the Realm. Breaking the seal reveals the following message:* Brothers, Sisters - I pray winter has been kind to all, and most to your aged and infirm, for whom such seasons are always a burden. I understand there is to be a grand voyage of exploration to the new Continent and in pursuit of the Demon Lord, Ferdinand. All are invited to visit Haven before setting sail - come and see the fruits of your labor and generosity. While most of our structures are still made of humble wood, yet lacking stone, fine glass, gilt or ornate decoration, there has been much progress. Let us confer one last time before your journey, and together invoke the blessing of the Lords of Light for your noble task - and to keep your people safe and grant swift victory over the forces of darkness.
