Join us for a special LARP Adventures Campout Event & Mead Festival! Combat scenarios, role playing, camping fun, and the finest mead in all of Virginia.
 
Event Fee $50
You'll be able to choose your camp The Unified Factions of Osterra, or The Horde. You will partake in a series of quests, and scenarios that are simple enough for those new to LARP to learn, but challenging enough to test even the most seasoned adventurer.
 
The $50 event fee grants you admittance to the event as a player, combatant or non-combatant. Your experience will start with an introduction to an immersive camp experience, an intro to the basic rules and role playing training scenarios to help you get your feet in Osterra, perfect your adventuring and combat skills, and let you get to know your companions and adversaries. 
 
From the start you will be able to make alliances, and the game will be afoot, with structured and unstructured encounters. There will be competitions, feats of skill, and quests to take part in, that are all part of an ongoing storyline.
 
OPTIONS
You must choose a side to start on, will you choose the Unified Forced of Osterra (the protagonists) or The Horde (the antagonists)?
Camping +$10
Either way you'll be camping on the grounds of the beautiful Mountain Run Winery. Bring your own tent and join us camping on site for the whole weekend! 
 
What To Expect
This is a four day event with Check-in beginning at 12pm (noon) Thursday 9/17, and Check-out and clean up on Sunday. it will feature days of adventure, and evenings of revelry! Nights under the stars and memories to last a lifetime. What more could anyone ask for? In the evenings Mountain Run Winery is transformed into a fantasy medieval tavern for the event, and you will be able to purchase wine, cider and mead. 
MEAD FESTIVAL
This year we are excited to announce that there will be a Mead Festival at Mountain Run during our LARP Adventures Event. All LARP Adventures players will have FREE access to the Mead Festival. You can also ADD-ON to your experience by purchasing a special edition tasting glass for $20, and you'll be able to sample all of the meads at the festival for one price, and keep the collectible cup!
NIGHT LIFE
The adventure doesn't end when the sun goes down. Night mods, campfires, music, and fun.
 
The Great Encampment & The Horde
Participate in the day’s adventures and spend Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday night camping with us at the winery! This year we introduce two campsites each with it's own themed role play flavor, special rituals, and fun! The Great Encampment, of the Unified Forces of Osterra, the goody goodies, and The Horde, with their dark themed fun, and bad guy vibe.
 
Equipment +$25
Never LARPed before, or your game doesn't use the same kind of weapons we use, no problem! Rent a LARP Adventures approved hand weapon from us! You may be an experienced player, but you're from another realm that uses weapons different from ours. We want to make it effortless for you to participate. Your basic equipment add on also includes a tabard or surcoat, if you need help with costuming. This simple costume piece can be used by itself, or as an accent piece to complete your garb. Not sure your garb is right for this event? Be right at home in one of our tabards.

Food & Drink Full Meal Ticket +$65
This event is catered by Peppers Grill, in Culpeper. There will be feasts on Friday and Saturday evening, a full breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 
Snacks
Snacks will be available for players on  the Meal Plan throughout the weekend in Greenlea tavern, but with so much going on, you will need to fend for yourself for lunches.  Sancks will include; water bottles, granola bars, fruit, chips, other snacks...
Lunch
Lunches will be available on site a'la carte with wood fire oven pizzas from the winery on Friday at $14 for a 14 inch pizza, with your choice of toppings. Saturday there will be a gormet food truck on site, with delicious affordable options. 
Bring your own
You are welcome to bring your own food to the event, and cook around the campfire, or at one of the onsite grilling stations. There is ample water available on site, other beverages will be on sale in the tavern. There are campfire rings and two grills available for players to prepare food on.
 
Day Player $35
You can only make it out for the day, but still want to be a part of the adventure? No worries, this is the option for you! As a Day Player, whether it be Friday or Saturday, you'll be able to participate in all of the adventure and fun until the sun goes down.
